New York
I like New York very much and find it unique and
charming in almost everything (except for, probably, subway system). It
has some great architecture (even though, like in many other big
cities, its architecture has often been victimized by urban development).
NY is abundant with art galleries and museums, theaters on and off Broadway.
As for Carnegie Hall,
Metropolitan Opera, I don't think
there are many places in the world that can top them. What else can one
ask for?
Of course, New York is crowded, sometimes
dirty and unbearably humid and hot, but still... I think I can understand
New Yorkers who don't like living in the city, but I can not understand
people who never wanted to live there ...

course things change so fast on the web, I might be hopelessly outdated.

virtually everything.
